Abstract

K Ramachandran, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Philips India, a subsidiary of the Dutch electronics giant Philips Electronics NV, shares the Philips experience as he speaks on the post-liberalisation scenario and its effects on the Indian market, aspects of the parentsubsidiary relationship and the nuances of restructuring. Opining on business education, he stresses the need to distinguish between 'skills' and 'education'.
