The English have not taken India;we have given it to them. Theyare not in India because of theirstrength but because we keepthem. Hence it is truer to say thatwe gave India to the English thanthat India was lost - MahatmaGandh in Indian Opinion during theBritish rule a hundred years ago.Today the Government of an inde-pendent India, by a legislation, isinviting the foreign universities tocome and educate our children!
