Abstract

Nine Gems or Navaratnas among PSUs are gearing up for fast-track growth. Experience shows that the institutional framework in which these PSUs operate is not conducive to organisational innovation and growth. How can these Navaratnas compete globally? Can they gear up to the new challenge?
