Abstract

Improving employee productivity has been a problem in all economies - capitalist, socialist, and mixed on the one hand, and developed and developing on the other. The problem becomes quite complex when the issue of sharing the gains of improved productivity between industry and labor arises. The complex nature of this problem necessitates the exchange of views among all concerned to evolve guidelines for sharing the gains of productivity.
