Abstract
Information about several topics discussed at a roundtable discussion on the base of Pyramid (BOP) in rural India is presented. Topics include the philosophy of the Shakti Entrepreneur Programme, the new sustainable business initiatives and the new models for the new millennium in financial services. The discussion featured several Indian business executives including Samit Ghosh, S. Siva Kumar and L. Ramakrishnan.
