Abstract

An interview with Hans Mundt, senior vice president, procurement, and chief procurement/purchasing Officer of EADS NV, is presented. When asked about how he envisions his organization in few years, he remarks that he expects to have further consolidated their supply base. He mentions that the demanding requirements in quality and delivery performance are the permanent challenge in procurement organization. He notes that the new challenge to procurement is the financial and economic crisis.
