Abstract

The book examines processes by which organisations come into being and achieve coherence as entities. It also discusses the issues surrounding organisational transformation and change. The understanding of these sociopsychological processes is necessary to enable managers to look at organisations as 'living' entities, to understand, maintain and develop organisations, and to manage change.
