Abstract
For long, books on management have focused primarily on knowledge, skills and performance and have not shown much concern for the soul or the well-being of the people and society at large. Most HRD professionals and management trainers, caught in the paradigm of scienticism, have shied away from addressing the issues of the soul and the spirit in spite of the silent cry of many managers and other members of organisations seeking ways of integrating the spirit with work.
